The next time you see Gabby Franco at a match it will be in a Team Walther jersey. Walther Arms has announced she is the company's latest brand ambassador.

"Walther Arms was the brand I trusted as an Olympian, and now I am proud to represent them and once again rely on their outstanding products not only for competitions but for self-defense," said Franco.

If you aren't familiar with Gabby Franco, by the age of 19 she was the first female from Venezuela to compete with the country's Olympic Shooting Team, doing so at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. In 2002, she moved to the United States where she quickly made a name for herself as a practical shooter and instructor, and also a passionate Second Amendment advocate. Having seen firsthand in her home country the results of when government tramples on cherished rights of the citizenry, this issue has a special place in her heart.

Franco was a competitor on season 4 of the History Channel TV show Top Shot, becoming the only woman to ever advance to the final stage. Now, she can be seen on NRATV as a commentator, and also as an instructor on the show Tips & Tactics. Franco is also an author, having penned the book Troubleshooting: Mastering Your Pistol Marksmanship.

Armed with 25 years of shooting experience, Franco is a NRA-certified instructor and she educates others via live and virtual training sessions conducted throughout the lower 48 states and Puerto Rico. Franco's message emphasizes growing the shooting sports not only by winning medals, but also dedication and sportsmanship. Since she is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, her entire website is in both languages, and she often teaches classes in Spanish.

Franco will be competing across the country with Team Walther in 3-Gun and USPSA matches.
