Meopta USA recently released the new TGA 75 collapsible spotting scope ($900, meoptasportsoptics.com). Featuring a 75mm objective lens, the fully-multi coated, premium optics will help to ensure superior light transmission and edge-to-edge clarity across the entire field of view.

Although engineered for hunters, the draw-tube design of this spotting scope allows the length to be shortened from 14.8-inches when fully extended to 9.8-inches when collapsed—making it an easy-to-carry option for competitive shooters. Without an eyepiece, the body weighs 44.1 ounces.

The scope is about 15-inches long when fully extended.

The TGA 75 is rubber armored and has a lightweight magnesium alloy body that is built to withstand heavy use in rugged terrain. The unique-to-Meopta MeoShield coating protects external lens surfaces from abrasions and scratches. It’s also shockproof and water-resistant (not waterproof). The TGA 75 can be mounted on a tripod—but is easily used without one by utilizing a tree, rock or even a pack for the necessary support.

Additionally, there are three interchangeable eyepieces available: 30x wide angle ranging, 30x wide angle or 20-60x zoom. All three are priced at $400 each.
