One of the latest offerings from Eley, the .38 Super Comp Major round has been officially listed as U.S. Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) certified ammunition.

What this means is that it has been certified for use in USPSA matches under Appendix C3 in the organization's rules. The length of certification is two years. The certification acts as a stamp of approval of sorts from the USPSA. It also demonstrates its quality. Competitive shooters that are looking to use Eley ammunition at practical shooting matches should be pleased. What this is not is a designation of Eley as "Official Ammunition," which is Federal for USPSA.

About the new round, the company says, "With Eley Action .38 Super Comp Major, IPSC and USPSA competing athletes can rest assured they have the safest .38 Super Comp Major round on the market."

The round uses a "rimless" case that's loaded with a round nose, copper metal jacketed 124-grain bullet for improved magazine stacking and feeding.

You can find Eley .38 Super Comp Action ammunition at Killough Shooting Sports in Winters, TX. The retail price for 50 rounds is currently $19.75. And, there is a discount available for large purchases. For more information, email the folks at Killough at [email protected], or call 325-754-5771.
