Eley Shooters Net 14 Medals At 2019 ISSF World Cup Final

At the 2019 ISSF World Cup Final in Putian, China, in November, Eley shooters put on a spectacular performance. Between smallbore and air gun, competitors using the company's tenex and tenex air offerings garnered a staggering total of 14 medals. Drawn from 34 countries, these elite shooting athletes competed in eight different events at this match.

Beginning with smallbore, Seonaid McIntosh (GBR) secured the gold in the Women's 50 meter 3-P rifle event with a score of 462.1. The runner-up was Ruijiao Pei (CHN) with 457.4, and in third place was Nina Christen (SUI) with 449.1. All three shooters were using Eley tenex.

As for Men's 50 meter 3-P rifle, Filip Nepejchal (CZE) scored the gold medal in this event—setting a new junior world record at the same time with his score of 462.9. Second place went to Milenko Sebic (SRB) with 461.5 and Sergey Kamenskiy (RUS) rounded out the podium after finishing with a final score of 449.8. Again, all three medal-winning shooters were using Eley tenex.

Finally, in the Women's 25 meter pistol event, Zhang Jingjing (CHN) was the gold medal winner. with a score of 37. Notably, she is the first Chinese shooter to win gold on their own turf. She was also using Eley tenex.

Moving on to air gun events, for the first time at an ISSF World Cup Final, the Mixed Team 10 meter air pistol and rifle events had competitors vying for the new President's Trophy. International shooter pairs were determined by random draw. All Eley air gun shooters used tenex air.

In 10 meter air rifle, Snjezana Pejcic (CRO) and Divyansh Panwar (IND) took the gold with a combined score of 16. And, Seonaid McIntosh (GBR) returned to the podium to receive the bronze medal with teammate Yu Haoanan (CHN). The duo finished with a score of 16 (bronze medal match).

In 10 meter air pistol, Artem Chernousov (RUS) with partner Manu Bhaker (IND), finishing with a final score of 17. Following close behind in second place was Anna Korakaki (GRC) and Saurabh Chaudhary (IND) with 13. Closing out the discipline was bronze medal winners Zorana Arunovic (SRB) and Shahzar Rizvi (IND) with 17 (bronze medal match).
