Bushnell says its new RXS-250 (MSRP $249.99) is a red-dot sight "designed to offer class-leading performance and exceptional durability." As such, the RXS-250 boasts MIL-STD-810F impact resistant design, user-adjustable brightness settings and True Tone coatings that provides users with a clear view that is free of color distortion.

The Bushnell RXS-250 is compatible with multiple factory optics-ready pistols and aftermarket suppressor-height sights.

At the core of the new RXS-250 is a bright, clear reflex sight with long battery life. In addition, the optic is compatible with all common red-dot mounts that have a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint. The new RXS-250 utilizes an energy-efficient point source LED that creates a collimated beam for the 4-MOA dot. This helps extend battery life while retaining high brightness settings for daylight visibility.

Ten brightness settings include low settings for excellent nighttime visibility and pairing with night-vision devices, in addition to daylight brightness settings. Additionally, the RXS-250 sports an easy-access, shrouded push-button design for brightness adjustment, using detented windage/elevation adjustments with 1 MOA per click.

The RXS-250 has optimized hood geometry and reflector lens design, which helps to provide a large field-of-view without sacrificing durability.

As for durability, the RXS-250 has a rugged cast aluminum housing for protecting the glass and internal electronic components, plus it has a IP67 dust and waterproof rating, which is achieved by sealing off the electronics. In addition, the chamfered hood edges will prevent snags on clothing or objects in the environment.

The RXS-250 comes standard with a user-selectable 12-hour auto-shutoff timer that can be disabled. Other items included are basic mounting and adjustment tools, a protective form-fit cover, cleaning cloth and one CR2032 battery.
