USA Shooting’s new hire, Chief Marketing Officer Buddy DuVall started his job on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021. In this role, he will oversee the USA Shooting team marketing effort, including partnerships, sponsorships and fundraising.

From 2004 to 2014, DuVall worked for USA Shooting as director of marketing and executive director of the USA Shooting Team Foundation. During DuVall’s tenure, more than $7 million was generated to support athletes and programs through corporate partnerships, fundraisers and individual contributions.

DuVall is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and currently resides in Georgia. A former National Team member and pistol shooter, DuVall represented the U.S. at over 40 World Cup and international competitions. His last international competition was at the 2002 World Championships.

With his background as an athlete and a leader, DuVall hopes to use his experiences to make a difference for USA Shooting athletes.

“One of the things that drew me back to USA Shooting was knowing firsthand the positive impact that participating in shooting sports has on its athletes, regardless of the level of success achieved,” said DuVall. “This is an opportunity to give back to [the] sport that has meant so much to me personally by playing a role in the development of future generations of champions and shooting sports ambassadors ... I look forward to furthering our industry partnerships and providing world-class support for our Olympic and Paralympic athletes and programs.”
