New for 2021 from Browning are two X-Bolt rifles aimed at the long-distance crowd—the McMillan Pro Long Range (MSRP: $2,629.99 to $2,699.99, depending on caliber) and the McMillan Pro (MSRP: $2,599.99 to $2,669.99).

X-Bolt Pro McMillan Long Range
A 20-MOA Picatinny rail with integrated bubble level is standard.

The X-Bolt Pro McMillan Long Range rifle combines the proven X-Bolt action with the McMillan Game Scout stock. Lightweight, thanks to carbon-fiber construction, this stock has a medium-sized fore-end with straight comb butt stock. Textured panels on the fore-end and pistol grip offer a great feel, along with a comfortable vertical pistol grip with thumbshelf. Aluminum pillars provide for a stable mount. And for in the field, the versatile Sonoran Carbon Ambush camouflage adds concealment from sharp eyes.

Fitted with a 26-inch heavy sporter contour barrel that is threaded 5/8"x24, the Pro McMillan Long Range also includes the Browning Recoil Hawg muzzle brake, which the company says can reduce recoil up to 77 percent. The McMillan Pro includes a sporter contour barrel and the same Recoil Hawg muzzle brake. Barrel lengths for the McMillan Pro model vary from 22 to 26 inches, depending on the caliber.

The X-Bolt Pro McMillan Long Range is available in the following calibers: 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 6.8 Western, .280 Ackley Improved, 7 mm Rem. Mag., .28 Nosler, .300 Win.
