Safariland's Break Free brand has released two new sizes of its CLP (Cleaner, Lubricant and Preservative) along with new applicators. Break Free CLP-14 ($5.98) comes in a compact, one-ounce needle container, while CLP-21 ($6.98) is available in a two-ounce spray bottle.

Some background on Break Free CLP: it is used by agencies and military forces around the world and according to Safariland, it was the first to pass MIL-SPEC 63460. The company also says this CLP cleans burnt powder residue and other fouling materials from the gun’s bore, moving parts and exterior, all while reducing friction and protecting against corrosion. In addition, Break Free CLP will not break down under extreme temperatures or pressure. Made from high quality synthetic oils, Break Free CLP is an all-in-one solution to service and preserve your firearms.

Regarding Break Free CLP-14, the diminutive one-ounce size is ideal to keep in a range bag without taking up too much valuable space. Plus, the container has the aforementioned needle applicator to apply the CLP in hard-to-reach areas.

As for Break Free CLP-21 in the two-ounce spray bottle, while it will take up a bit more space, for quick-fix moments on the range or after a round of sporting clays, competitive shooters will appreciate the additional capacity.

Maintenance is crucial for the proper and safe operation of firearms. Treat your guns with love and care by using Break Free CLP. Learn more at safariland.com/pages/break-free.
