SAN ANTONIO — The 2026 World English Sporting Clays Championship drew 1,268 shooters to the National Shooting Complex from April 21-26, and when the smoke cleared over Texas, Team Winchester and Team White Flyer had quietly stacked the leaderboard from the Main Event down the line.

The week belonged in large part to the team’s veterans and rising stars alike. Eric Harvey finished seventh in the Main Event with a 184 of 225 and added a runner-up finish in Five-Stand at 93 of 100, while teammate Joe Fanizzi claimed the Five-Stand Championship outright with a 94 and slotted sixth in the Prelim at 95. Zach Kienbaum pushed Fanizzi all week, taking the Prelim runner-up honor with a 96 of 100, and Anthony Matarese rounded out the men’s podium hunt with a third-place FITASC finish at 91.

Team Winchester Ladies and Juniors brought just as much firepower. Desi Edmunds took third in the Main Event Lady division with a 172 of 225 and walked off with the FITASC Lady Championship at 89 of 100, while Kayla Wilgus finished sixth in Main Event Lady at 166.

On the Junior side, Connor Daniel was fifth in the Main Event at 178 and captured the FITASC Junior Championship with a 91.

Mike Wilgus closed out the team’s individual hardware with a Prelim Veteran Championship at 94 of 100.

Five of those shooters carried the momentum into Team USA’s international results. Harvey, Fanizzi and Kienbaum anchored the Senior squad to gold, Daniel led the Junior squad to gold of its own and Wilgus helped the Veteran team take silver.

“Winchester Ammunition and White Flyer carry a strong legacy in the shooting sports and the World English remains one of the most prestigious events where our products are showcased,” said Jason Gilbertson, Senior Director of Marketing for Winchester Ammunition. “The famous AA shotshells and White Flyer targets were once again used to perfection on some very challenging courses.”

Additionally, Braxton Oliver of Team USA took the overall Championship title.
