Vudu’s 1-8x24 mm SFP riflescope boasts an 8x zoom range, making it ideal for MSRs, bolt-action, lever-action or single-shot rifles. Competitive shooters and hunters will surely appreciate it for close quarters to mid-range shooting applications.

The Vudu 1-8x24 mm SFP has a wide field-of-view—at 100 yards, it is 105.8 feet at 1x, and 13.2 feet at 8x. At 1x magnification the eye relief is 4.1 inches and at 8x power it is 3.9 inches. The reticle sports a 0.5-MOA illuminated center dot with quad-level BDC suspensions. In addition, the Vudu 1-8x24 mm SFP’s HC3 reticle has four hold-over points for bullet drop compensation on targets at different distances.

Overall length is 10.6 inches. Elevation adjustments are 100 MOA, 80 MOA for windage.

As for the construction, the 30 mm main tube is built from T6 aircraft-aluminum with matte-black hard-anodized finish. Low-profile capped turrets give the optic a sleek profile, while the finger-adjustable turrets with 0.5-MOA clicks make adjustments easy. This virtually indestructible housing protects the scope’s internal components. Similar to all Vudu scopes, the 1-8x24 mm SFP is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof.

The power and brightness buttons are combined with the battery compartment. Additionally, the auto power-down to sleep mode kicks in after two hours of idleness. Vudu said that one CR2032 battery provides 500 hours of run-time.

At 8x magnification, the BDC reticle has elevation hold marks for 2-, 5-, 8.5- and 12.5 MOA. With a second focal plane, the reticle size remains fixed with a small center aiming dot.

A one-piece eyepiece makes transitioning from low to high magnification fluid. Plus, the included removable throw lever is easy to locate and provides shooters the ability to make quick magnification changes.

MSRP for the Vudu 1-8x24 mm SFP riflescope is $1,399. Learn more at eotechinc.com.
