Listen Up! The Gunny—actor, director, U.S. Marine and firearm aficionado R. Lee Ermey—has a great deal in common with Creedmoor Ammunition. Both are all about quality work, take a no-nonsense approach to life, and get the job done.

So it's only natural that Creedmoor Ammunition recently became a major sponsor for Season Two of "Gunny Time," hosted by Ermey. In "Gunny Time," Ermey takes viewers on his fascinating exploration of weapons and weapons technology, from the past, the present and the future. The Gunny tries out some of the coolest weapons and weaponized vehicles, consults with top-notch weapons experts, and has a heck of a good time.

"Actually, Creedmoor Ammunition (made by Creedmoor Sports) is the only ammunition endorsed by Gunny," said Creedmoor Sports owner Greg Kantorovich. "He only endorses our ammo, and each and every box of Creedmoor rifle and pistol ammunition is 'Gunny Approved!' So we are really happy to support "Gunny Time" with a series of Creedmoor Ammunition commercials featured during the season."

Season Two of "Gunny Time" begins the first week of July 2016 on the Outdoor Channel. Creedmoor Ammunition will be featured in dozens of commercials during Season Two.

For many, Ermey will forever be Senior Drill Instructor Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, the Marine Corps Drill Instructor in Stanley Kubrick's Vietnam War film, "Full Metal Jacket." In fact, Ermey has acted in over 60 films, and appeared in dozens of television shows. First, though, he served 11 years active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served two years as a Drill Instructor, and had a tour of duty in Vietnam before being medically retired in 1971.
