One of the latest Buck Mark pistols from Browning stands out from the pack with a special Americana theme. The new Browning Buck Mark Plus Vision Americana suppressor-ready model (MSRP: $749.99) will certainly grab the attention of fellow shooters on the firing line with its distinctive red, white and blue color scheme.

The svelte Vision barrel design makes for a lightweight pistol. The solid steel barrel is replaced with a smaller diameter inner steel barrel that is surrounded by a tensioning outer aluminum sleeve.

As mentioned, this patriotic pistol sports an Americana theme, consisting of a blue anodized aluminum frame paired with a red barrel (5⅞ inches long) that is surrounded by a blue anodized aluminum Vision outer sleeve. The sleeve has CNC machined stars and stripes.

Additional features include suppressor-ready threads (1/2"-28 TPI), removable muzzle brake, Picatinny optics rail and a Truglo fiber-optic front sight. Sight radius is 8¼ inches. An adjustable Pro-Target rear sight with white outline completes the package.

Regarding the grips, they are UFX overmolded ones with black on black coloration. The 10-round magazine is made from steel and uses a coil spring instead of a z-spring. Browning says the coil spring is for enhanced feed reliability and longevity.

The Buck Mark's single-action, blowback operated autoloading design is popular with rimfire shooters.

With the overall weight at 27 ounces, the Buck Mark Plus Vision Americana pistol is deceptively lightweight, similar to other pistols in the Vision line. The overall length is a hair under 10 inches.

The Buck Mark Plus Vision Americana .22 LR includes a pistol rug with purchase. Learn more at browning.com.
