Hornady’s 2026 reloading lineup covers a lot of ground for a short list. There’s a new kit built for first-time handloaders, a pair of bench upgrades veterans will put to work right away and a full set of components for one of the newer short-action cartridges on the market.
Lock-N-Load Classic Pro Accuracy Kit
Pricing out a reloading bench one piece at a time is how most new handloaders learn just how long the shopping list gets. Hornady’s Lock-N-Load Classic Pro Accuracy Kit shortens it considerably, packing the Lock-N-Load Classic Pro single-stage press and most of its supporting cast into one box.
Along with the press, buyers get the Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading, an Auto Charge Pro electronic powder dispenser, the Lock-N-Load Case Prep Trio, a digital caliper, a powder funnel kit, 10 Lock-N-Load bushings, three Sure-Loc lock rings, a universal loading block and Hornady's One Shot case lube.
Those bushings are the heart of the press. Each die threads into its own bushing and holds its adjustment, so swapping dies takes a quick twist instead of a full readjustment every time one goes back in. Dies and shell holders aren't included, so plan on picking up a set for whatever cartridge you load first.
Universal Mounting Plate
Reloaders who rotate tools on and off the bench will want a look at Hornady’s Universal Mounting Plate. Machined from solid 6061 aluminum, it can be mounted on top of a bench or recessed into the work surface for a flush fit. Its hole pattern accepts a range of Hornady reloading tools, so one plate can anchor different setups as your needs change. Mounting hardware is sold separately.
6.8 Western Reloading Essentials
Winchester and Browning rolled out the 6.8 Western in 2021, building the short-action cartridge around long, heavy-for-caliber .277 bullets. Hornady now has handloaders covered from brass to dies. New items include unprimed 6.8 Western brass and a two-die set, with the full-length sizing die and seating die also sold individually. Rounding things out is a Lock-N-Load Modified Case, which pairs with Hornady’s Lock-N-Load OAL Gauge to measure cartridge overall length to the lands in your rifle.
Hornady Jet Blower
Spend an evening at the bench and you’ll find powder kernels, tumbling media dust and brass shavings in places you didn’t know your bench had. Hornady’s new Jet Blower is a rechargeable handheld air blower made for exactly that kind of mess. It fits comfortably in one hand and comes with interchangeable nozzles for aiming airflow into corners and crevices.
Its usefulness doesn’t stop at the reloading room door. You can use it to clear carbon and grit from actions, triggers, bolt assemblies, rails and magazines, and Hornady says it’s safe around sensitive gear such as digital powder scales, chronographs and rangefinders. Optics and the office keyboard are fair game, too.
