Lucid Optics has announced the new E7 red-dot optic, which it says is “designed to withstand the physical forces of semi-automatic pistol slides and provide fast target acquisition for both pistol and carbine applications.”

According to the company, the new E7 optic will be available on store shelves and at the Lucid website by the middle of the year.

The new E7 sight is made from 7075 aluminum with a matte black finish and has an overall length is 1.78 inches. Overall weight is 2.65 ounces. Mounting duties are handled by the ACRO mounting system, and the E7 red-dot optic also sports a high efficiency LED emitter and M5 reticle. In addition, the E7 is operationally parallax-free.

The single magnification lens is 21 x 18 mm size. The lens is also FBMC multi-coated with 95 percent light transmission. Both windage and elevation adjustment are up to 90 MOA. Field of view is 60 feet at 100 yards.

Power is provided by a CR2032 battery rated at 50,000 hours (no brightness setting was specified by Lucid). Additionally, there is a shake awake feature.

MSRP for the E7 red-dot sight from Lucid Optics is $299. As mentioned, it will be available by the middle of 2023. Learn more at lucidoptics.com.
