New from Walther Arms is the PDP Pro-E, which is described by the company as a “hybrid” model intended to occupy the space between the standard PDP and PDP Pro handguns. Chambered in 9 mm Luger, the PDP Pro-E is available in full-size with a 4½-inch barrel and 20-round capacity, along with a compact four-inch barrel version with 18-round capacity.

A well-rounded firearm, the PDP Pro-E is designed to provide solid handling, accuracy and control, along with ample magazine capacity.

An optics-ready handgun, the PDP Pro-E is built to accommodate red dots, holographic sights or other optics. The PDP Pro-E also features a performance duty texture for a secure and comfortable grip.

As for the trigger, the PDP Pro-E is equipped with a flat-faced trigger sporting a polymer trigger-shoe.

Conveniently positioned for thumb operation, the magazine release is reversible for right- or left-hand operation.

The aluminum magwell will help with smooth magazine changes, while the polymer magazine extensions give the PDP Pro-E a 20-round capacity (18-round capacity for the compact model).

SuperTerrain Serrations on the slide allow for quicker and more responsive hands-on engagement with the pistol.
