The year of 2024 saw many changes at Winnequah Gun Club in Lodi, Wisconsin.

For starters, the High Power Rifle range has been expanded to 52 targets, with all of them now using Shotmarker electronic targets. The old system that had the microphones mounted on the wall six feet in front of the targets has been removed. Additionally, the new Shotmarker system has the microphones mounted on the targets, which will make the calibration much more accurate.

The Shotmarker electronic target system was used for the NRA National F-Class Championship matches in August 2024. By all accounts, the competition was a great success. Attendance at the 2024 NRA National F-Class Championship reached 220 competitors, nearing the range’s capacity of 250 shooters.

The club is also installing an updated WiFi system with larger capacity.

All these improvements at Winnequah Gun Club will certainly be appreciated by NRA High Power Competitors this summer, when the facility will host the 2025 NRA National High Power Across the Course Championships. The match is scheduled to take place from June 1-7.

Winnequah Gun Club encourages shooters who have stayed away because of the previous system to come back and check out the new Shotmarker electronic target system.
