The Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) and Winchester Ammo have announced they will continue their decades-long partnership. Not only has Winchester been a longtime ATA sponsor, but also a staple ammunition provider at iconic shotgun matches such as the Grand American World Trapshooting Championships, AIM Grand Championships for junior shooters and the U.S. Open.

The 2019 Grand American will be held once again at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, IL, July 31 to August 10. The Winchester AA Class Singles event will be held Monday, August 5. Additionally, the Winchester Super 500 singles event will cover the duration of preliminary week July 31 to August 4.

AIM is the official youth program of the ATA. The AIM National Youth Trapshooting Championships will be July 26-30, also held at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex. As the title sponsor, Winchester will support the AIM Grand National Youth Handicap Championship and is also generously footing the bill for a competitor pizza party on Monday, July 29.

The U.S. Open will be held May 29 to June 2 at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex and will feature the U.S. Open Singles Championship on Saturday, June 1—thanks to help from Winchester. This event also hosts over 200 youth shooters from the Southern Illinois Youth Sport Shooting Association, which is a program dedicated to promoting trapshooting and other shooting activities for young people.
