Kimber is a big supporter of USA Shooting, with contributions of approximately $1.3 million to date.
Kimber has a fantastic competition pistol in the Team Match II. This pistol is one of Kimber’s masterpieces in 1911 design philosophy. Created for action shooting competitors who need the knockdown power of the .45 ACP cartridge (also available in 9 mm), this gun is much more than another 1911 at your next single stack match.

Kimber’s attention to quality components is legendary, and the Team Match II is no different. The adjustable sight, with steel-on-steel click adjustment dials (6.8-inch radius), is dovetail-mounted into the slide. A five-inch, match-grade barrel and bushing, high-strength stainless steel frame, an aluminum trigger set from the factory to about a four pound pull (with the clean break you would expect from a Kimber 1911), and an extended magwell that is often favored by action shooters. Best of all, the Team Match II slide features high polished flats with durable DLC finish and the USA Shooting Team logo engraved in 24k gold.

Thankfully, Kimber did not stop with these high-quality components. The workmanship is top-notch, even for the high standards that made the company famous. For example, the steel match-grade barrel is machine oversized, and then fitted by hand in the Kimber Custom Shop for accuracy. Grip panels are shaped from G10 with a unique pattern, which allows for a positive grip. For every Team Match II pistol sold, Kimber has generously donated $100 to USA Shooting. Since 2003, they have donated $1.3 million. The Kimber Team Match II 1911 (.45 ACP model) has an MSRP of $1,868.
