Top sporting clays competitor and instructor Anthony Matarese Jr. has joined Team Winchester. The 2016 World Sporting Clays Champion, he is one of the most successful U.S. sporting clays shooters of all time.

A native of Pennsville, NJ, Matarese picked up his first gun at age six, blossoming into a full-blown competitive shooter only four years later. Although his shooting career is still active, Matarese was inducted into the National Sporting Clays Hall of Fame in 2014.

Matarese will be competing on the National Sporting Clays Association Championship Tour. As a  true master of the sporting clays game, Matarese says that he will be exclusively shooting Winchester's AA shotgun shells. He is thrilled to become a part of the Winchester family and to represent the company on the competition circuit.

"I am very excited to be more closely affiliated with the iconic Winchester brand. I consider Winchester AA shotshells to be the gold standard," said Matarese.

We wish Mr. Matarese well on his new partnership with Winchester, an American legend.
