Dallas, Texas-based manufacturer Rival Arms has expanded its lineup of precision long-range rifle  components with the introduction of the new ST-3X Precision Rifle stock (MSRP: $236.99).

Weighing in at only 28 ounces, the ST-3X is machined from billet aluminum for consistency, strength and rigidity. Comb height and length-of-pull are user-adjustable, and the recoil pad can be adjusted vertically and canted for better shoulder fit. In addition, the cheek pad is reversible to fit people of all shapes and sizes.

It's common for precision-rifle chassis systems to use a buffer-tube style attachment, similar to that of stock AR-15 systems. The ST-3X stock uses the same mounting system, but since it's purpose-built for chassis rifles, Rival Arms added an adjustable cheek riser that passes through the stock.

The machined aluminum frame of the ST-3X includes a downward-facing M-Lok slot for accessories like monopods or Picatinny-rail sections. Ambidextrous flush cups are also machined into the stock for use with quick-detach slings. Similar to an AR-15 stock, the ST-3X installs with a 1-3/16”-16 thread and locks into place with an included castle nut. Finally, an anti-rotation set screw allows DIYers to properly set the alignment before fully tightening the castle nut.
