New: TriStar Bristol Side-by-Side Shotguns

TriStar Arms has released the new Bristol line of side-by-side shotguns, available in two versions and four gauges. The Bristol is a classic gentleman's gun with an English stock, while the Bristol Silver sports a traditional-style stock and 24k gold inlay.

Side-by-side shotguns, with their classic look and feel, can often provide for a more dynamic shooting experience. With a shallower action, reloading a side-by-side can be a breeze, plus the wider fore-end lays nicely in the palm for quick pointing. Another characteristic highly favored by side-by-side shotgun aficionados are the classic aesthetics.

Each gauge in the Bristol side-by-side line (12, 20, 28 and .410) is built on a steel frame true to gauge, which ensures the shotgun handles and weighs appropriately.

The Bristol has a case-color-hardened receiver and the aforementioned English stock made of select Turkish Walnut. Barrel length is 28 inches, and the weight for the 12-gauge model is 6.74 pounds. MSRP for the 12-gauge and 20-gauge is $1,062 and $1,100 for the 28-gauge and .410 versions.

As for the Bristol Silver, it features a nickel-finished receiver with laser-engraved details, the previously mentioned 24K gold inlay and a traditional-style stock. Barrel length is 28 inches and the weight of the 12-gauge version is 6.74 pounds. MSRP for the 12-gauge and 20-gauge is $1,000 and $1,040 for the 28-gauge and .410 models.

Common to both the Bristol and Bristol Silver versions are auto ejectors, brass front sight, single selective trigger, chrome-lined barrel and chamber, select Turkish Walnut stock with oil finish and five choke tubes (Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified and Full).
