Jessie Harrison added another big win to her resume over the weekend by topping the Ladies Open division leaderboard at the 2026 USPSA Race Gun Nationals.
The Taurus team captain posted a score of 1430.2743 (77.259%), more than 30 points ahead of Ladies Open runner-up Anna McCarthy. Harrison’s score also garnered her a top 60-finish in Open division.
Held at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio, the 2026 USPSA Race Gun Nationals ran from Aug. 21-23. (The Cardinal Center also hosts the NRA Pistol and Smallbore National Championships, as well as the SCTP and SASP Nationals.)
In addition to Open, the USPSA Race Gun Nationals also encompasses Limited, Limited Optics, Limited 10 and Pistol-Caliber Carbine divisions.
“This one means a little more,” Harrison said in a post on her Facebook page, where she went on to thank God, her sponsors, her husband and parents, range staff and fellow competitors. She also gave a shout-out to the “people who have stood beside me along the way.”
Open division drew 181 of the 633 competitors at the 2026 USPSA Race Gun Nationals. Nine of them were women.
