Braden Peiser to Carry Flag for Team USA at 2025 Junior Pan American Games

USA Shooting rifle, pistol and shotgun athletes are headed to Asunción, Paraguay, for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games from August 9-13, with Braden Peiser leading Team USA into the opening ceremony as a flag bearer.

“It is certainly an honor,” Peiser said. “I never considered the possibility of it before, but I know I will take advantage of the opportunity and the experience the best I can.”

USA Shooting’s top junior athletes are locked in for Asunción—ready to chase medals and make their mark on the global stage this week.

 

This past May, Peiser earned a silver medal in Junior Men’s 10m Air Rifle at the 2025 ISSF Junior Suhl World Cup.

2025 JUNIOR PAN AMERICAN GAMES

Held every four years, the Junior Pan American Games draw athletes from across North America, Central America and South America.

Junior athletes, all 21 years of age or younger, from 41 countries will gather in Asunción this week to compete in a wide range of Olympic sports. The shooting competitions will feature events across rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines, including Men’s and Women’s 10m Air Rifle, 10m Air Pistol, Skeet and Trap, as well as Mixed Team events in each of those categories.

The following USA Shooting athletes will be competing at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games.

Something else to note: athletes who earn a gold medal will also secure a by-name quota spot for the 2027 Pan American Games in the event in which they medaled.
