Few objects say American childhood quite like a Red Ryder, so it tracks that Daisy would want its most famous BB gun at the party for the nation’s 250th birthday. The Rogers, Arkansas, air gun maker has announced three commemorative Red Ryders for the semiquincentennial—a pair of lever-action carbines and a CO2-powered revolver—each carrying language from the Declaration of Independence and the Second Amendment.
Both carbines wear laser engraving on their solid wood stocks, and Daisy clearly designed them as a matched set. One buttstock reads “Liberty” above a large 1776, the other “Freedom” above a large 2026, each accompanied by an eagle seal marking 250 years of freedom. Shared engraving runs along both forearms: “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness … the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” Just 250 of each carbine will be built.
Rounding out the trio is a commemorative version of the Red Ryder Revolver, the CO2-powered single-action BB pistol Daisy offers for backyard plinking. Mechanically it carries over everything from the standard model, including an 18-round BB reservoir, crossbolt safety and a functioning hammer, loading gate and extractor. For the anniversary edition, Daisy embedded a 250th Anniversary medallion in both grip panels and engraved the Second Amendment’s operative clause on the tang. Production is capped at 1,776 units.
Daisy worked the founding into the arithmetic, too. Between the 250-unit carbine runs, the 1,776 revolvers and a retail price of $76.26, the numbers do as much commemorating as the engraving. All three models begin shipping August 10, 2026.
Collectors chasing the full set have some company coming. Manufacturers across the industry have spent 2026 rolling out semiquincentennial editions of everything from 1911s to lever guns, but at $76.26, Daisy’s entries may be the most accessible way to put America’s 250th on the shelf.
