Federal Ammunition has announced the addition of 124-grain 9mm Luger to its full line of Syntech handgun ammunition. Shipments are on the way to dealers as of this writing.

Conventional ammunition causes metal-on-metal contact between the bullet and bore, which is known to shorten barrel life and hamper accuracy. The polymer-encapsulated Syntech bullet can help prevent this from occurring, all while aiding in the elimination of copper and lead fouling.

Combined with the clean-burning powders, Federal says "your gun will stay cleaner, longer, so you can shoot more—and shoot better." The exclusive Catalyst primer provides the cleanest most consistent ignition possible—receiving the 2017 NRA Golden Bullseye Award.

MSRP: $18.95 per 50-round box of 9mm Luger 124-grain Syntech.
