Last month, Federal Ammunition and Silencer Central revealed their new partnership.

Federal’s President, Jason Vanderbrink, and Silencer Central’s Chief Executive Officer, Brandon Maddox, made the announcement in January at SHOT Show 2023 in Las Vegas, Nev. The collaboration makes Federal the Official Ammunition of Silencer Central, and also names Silencer Central as the Official Silencer of Federal Ammunition.

Silencer Central delivers silencers directly to consumers in the 42 states where silencers are legal. The shipping process has revolutionized the way suppressors are sold and allows for customers to streamline their purchasing experience by cutting out unnecessary hurdles to suppressor ownership.

“We are excited for the opportunity to work so closely with the entire team at Silencer Central,” Vanderbrink said. “A strong partnership with them just makes sense as new products are developed to better serve the shooter and hunter with innovative products. Our companies will continue to collaborate on content creation to further educate on the benefits of shooting with a suppressor. Other promotional activities will be designed around the safety and comfort of suppressed shooting and the right ammunition pairings, helping to make them more efficient and effective.”

“As America’s largest silencer dealer, we are thrilled to partner with Federal, who leads our industry in ammunition technology,” Maddox said. “We’re both in the business of creating dependable, trustworthy products for hunters and shooters alike. This partnership is sure to be a success on multiple levels from providing great content for our consumers to promotional opportunities, co-branded events, conservation support and more. I’m truly excited for what the future holds.”

Since late last year, Federal Ammunition has been working with Silencer Central to develop content on its brand’s website and email newsletters to educate its core users, as well as Federal ambassador and event collaboration and promotions.

Recent examples of combined marketing efforts include Federal e-newsletters giving subscribers the first opportunity to purchase Silencer Central’s newest suppressor—the Banish Backcountry—before sale opened up to the public. There was also a guide explaining the benefits of suppressors, how they work, and what the purchase process is like, along with a promo code for a free wrap with the purchase of any Banish suppressor from Silencer Central.

“There are many reasons why suppressors are getting more popular every day,” Vanderbrink said. “It’s about more than just turning down the volume. Many other advantages come from shooting or hunting with a suppressor, and our collaboration with Silencer Central will continue to help deliver those important messages.”

In addition to the new partnership, Silencer Central and Federal Ammunition share a common interest in partnering with and supporting conservation organizations. Both companies have donated millions of dollars to help conservation, education, shooting sports and hunting efforts, and will continue to do so in the future.

Expect to hear more about the partnership between Federal Ammunition and Silencer Central in the future.
