Lauryl Akenhead Claims Ladies Title At 2024 International Precision Rifle Federation Centerfire World Championship

Hornady sponsored shooter Lauryl Akenhead topped the Ladies leaderboard at the 2024 International Precision Rifle Federation Centerfire World Championship held at the Cameo Shooting Center in Grand Junction, Colorado, from September 12-17.

Walking away from the competition with 166 match points and a final time of 86.62 seconds, Akenhead claimed the top spot in the Ladies Division shooting Hornady’s 6 mm 110-grain A-Tip Match bullets.

“The 2024 IPRF World Championships really tested the shooters with diverse stages and shifting winds,” Akenhead said. “The A-Tip bullets performed so consistently well, giving me the edge and securing the top spot in my division.”

There were 20 shooters competing in the Ladies division at the 2024 IPRF Centerfire World Championship. In addition, there were 266 competitors at the match across all seven divisions, including Open, Ladies, Factory, Junior, Limited, Military/Law Enforcement and Senior.
