Magpul has officially released its new MOE QD Bipod for M-LOK, first teased at SHOT Show in January 2025. Designed with a focus on simplicity and field practicality, this latest offering finally gives M-LOK users a true quick-detach bipod option—without relying on adapters or extra hardware.

MOE QD Bipod
The MOE QD Bipod is the fastest and easiest to install in Magpul’s bipod lineup, thanks to an integral attachment mechanism and how it interfaces with common M-LOK slots. (Photo courtesy Magpul)

Until now, attaching a bipod to an M-LOK rail required a fixed mount or a separate quick-detach adapter. This MOE QD Bipod changes that with an integrated steel stud that locks directly into the M-LOK slots. To attach it, users insert the stud, rotate the bipod 45 degrees counterclockwise and tighten the built-in knob. Internal screw stops keep the connection secure under recoil or movement.

Weighing a svelte nine ounces, the MOE QD is the lightest bipod in Magpul’s lineup—nearly 40% lighter than previous models—thanks to its injection-molded polymer construction. Despite the lower weight, it doesn’t compromise on stability. The bipod legs adjust independently from 7 to 10 inches, locking into place in half-inch increments via a top-mounted push button. When folded, the entire unit sits just 1.7 inches high, maintaining a compact footprint.

Magpul has also included textured rubber feet for grip across uneven terrain. These feet can be swapped out and are compatible with most Atlas-pattern replacements, giving users some customization flexibility. For those who use slings, the bipod includes an Uncle Mike’s-style sling stud.

Available in Black and Flat Dark Earth colors, the Magpul MOE QD Bipod for M-LOK is priced at $79.95. It’s a straightforward solution for competition shooters or hunters looking to streamline their setup without adding bulk or complexity.
