Benelli is updating its Ethos Upland shotgun lineup with the introduction of new Ethos A.I. 12-gauge and 20-gauge models, each sporting the company’s Advanced Impact (A.I.) barrel engineering technology.

The new Ethos Upland A.I. semi-automatic shotgun from Benelli presents the perfect blend of fine Italian craftsmanship and cutting-edge firearm technology. Besides the A.I. barrel technology, the Ethos Upland A.I. comes with the Progressive Comfort recoil-reduction system that self-adjusts for recoil reduction dependent on load power. More from Benelli about Advanced Impact barrels in the Ethos Upland A.I.: “The new A.I. barrel technology employs a unique bore contour that, combined with the equally new A.I. CRIO choke tubes, delivers up to 50% greater on-target penetration when compared to standard shotgun barrels. Using typical shotshell loads, the A.I. system produces higher velocities and downrange energy than the same load in a conventional shotgun barrel. This means pellets hit harder and go deeper into the target, and the A.I. CRIO choke design ensures a denser and more uniform payload. In short, the Ethos Upland A.I. is a refined, high-performance hammer upland hunters need for those early-breaking birds.”

Retaining its classical form, the new Ethos Upland A.I. pairs an elegant AA-grade satin walnut stock and fore-end with a brushed gray receiver, along with a 28-inch ported gloss black barrel that sports Benelli’s BE.S.T. finish for durability.

The Ethos Upland A.I. is available in both 12-gauge and 20-gauge with three-inch chambers and 4+1 capacity. Adjustable for drop and cast for a custom fit, the shotgun also features Benelli’s Progressive Comfort recoil-reduction system. Plus, an enlarged bolt handle and bolt release allow for simple operation—even while wearing gloves.

Extended nickel A.I. choke tubes in cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified and full are also included.

MSRP for the new Benelli Ethos Upland A.I. is $3,099 for both 12-gauge and 20-gauge models. Learn more at benelliusa.com.
