Burris is expanding its FastFire series of red dots with the all-new FastFire E designed for pistols, shotguns and carbine rifles. Announced at SHOT Show 2025 in Las Vegas last month, the new FastFire E is the company’s first fully enclosed emitter reflex sight. Thanks to the closed emitter construction, the emitter is shielded from environmental hazards like snow and mud.

Whether for competition, hunting, professional use or personal defense, the new Burris FastFire E red-dot optic is a solid choice.

Boasting a 60,000-hour battery life and a monolithic machined aluminum housing, the Burris FastFire E is also waterproof, shockproof and fogproof.

With a 3.5-MOA aiming dot, Burris says the FastFire E, “Delivers dependable operational readiness for every situation. With 1X magnification and an expansive sight picture, the FastFire E promotes both-eyes-open shooting, enhancing speed, accuracy and situational awareness in every scenario.”

Probably the most enticing aspect of the FastFire E for competition shooters is the large 22x17 mm sight window. Aspherical lenses ensure a clear, distortion-free view by minimizing glare and enhancing target visibility in different lighting conditions. The FastFire E also features eight red-dot illumination settings, two night vision settings and is available with either a red or green aiming dot. Not only that, the FastFire E is fully adjustable for windage and elevation, featuring a 100-MOA adjustment range for precise point-of-aim/point-of-impact alignment.

Powered by a single CR2032 lithium battery, the FastFire E also sports a side-mounted battery compartment, allowing for easy battery changes without risking a loss of zero.

For mounting, the FastFire E uses the Aimpoint ACRO footprint, providing compatibility with aftermarket mounting plates and dedicated slide cuts. A T10 tool for clamping the optic over an ACRO rail is included with purchase.

Additional features include automatic brightness reset, brightness lock, and a button lockout function to prevent accidental adjustments to the red-dot illumination.

The Burris FastFire E weighs 2.45 ounces. Dimensions are 1.81 inches long and 1.41 inches wide, with height of 1.26 inches.

MSRP is $420. Go to burrisoptics.com.
