New from Performance Center are four lightweight .22 LR rimfire rifles that all feature carbon-fiber wrapped barrels and ergonomic stocks available in multiple colors. Developed with the help of Thompson/Center Arms, these rimfires use the T/CR22 semi-automatic rifle action and associated 10-round rotary magazine. With the use of the factory magazine, the last shot will hold open the bolt.

All four models have a fully-machined aluminum receiver and stainless steel bolt, and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Optics-ready with a built-in Picatinny rail, the new T/CR22 rimfire sheds excess weight with the combination of a lightweight 17-inch barrel and slim stocks. Although light, the carbon-fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel (1:15-inch twist rate) is equipped with a threaded muzzle and comes equipped from the factory with a custom Performance Center muzzle brake. Additionally, there are competitive shooting-friendly features like an oversized bolt handle and a push button safety.

As mentioned, the Performance Center T/CR22 comes in four flavors: one with a Hogue overmolded thumbhole black synthetic stock ($523) and three Altamont laminated thumbhole stock options in wood, red or blue finishes ($642).

All four rifles are compatible with most aftermarket 10/22 accessories, and ship with one 10-round detachable rotary magazine. Learn more at tcarms.com.
