The 12th NRA World Action Pistol Championships will return to New Zealand in 2025.

Similar to the Bianchi Cup National Action Pistol Championship, the World Action Pistol Championships has a course of fire featuring four events—the Practical, Barricade, Falling Plates and Moving Target.

In addition to New Zealand hosting the tournament, past World Action Pistol Championships have been conducted in Australia, Germany, Italy and the United States.

Pro shooter Julie Golob has kindly stepped up to the plate to assist the NRA for the 2025 U.S. World Action Pistol Championships Team selection. “I’ve offered to help the organization streamline the process to get an idea of who would like to represent the USA as members of division and special category teams,” she said via her bulletinX email newsletter.

For U.S. action-pistol shooters interested in attending the 2025 World Action Pistol Championships, know that you will have to make all appropriate travel arrangements, as well as fund your trip. Golob has provided an online form where you can enter contact information along with divisions, special categories and past results for review. This data will help NRA determine the top shooters for each team based on those who are interested and able to attend.

You can fill out the 2025 U.S. World Action Pistol Team form at this link. Completed forms are due no later than November 1, 2024.
