Winchester Ammunition Employees Contribute More Than 21,000 Hours Of Community Service Across Local Communities

Winchester Ammunition recently announced that its employees contributed more than 21,000 hours of community service across the East Alton, Ill., Independence, Mo., and Oxford, Miss., communities in 2023.

With a dedicated team of approximately 3,500 employees, Winchester actively engaged in multiple community service initiatives.

Employees from all levels of the organization participated, highlighting Winchester’s collective dedication to giving back to the communities where it operates.

Winchester employee volunteer activities spanned many causes, to include community efforts such as Boys and Girls Clubs, blood center and American Red Cross organizations, the Salvation Army, K.C. Harvesters and GlenEd food pantries, animal shelters, Folds of Honor, the Veteran’s Community Project, Wreaths Across America, Boy Scouts of America, 4-H programs and FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology).

Expressing gratitude for the selfless contributions of Winchester's employees, Winchester President Brett Flaugher said, “At Winchester, we embrace the importance of community service. The remarkable efforts of our employees reflect our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
