McMillan's new A-10 rifle stock is a PRS-style tactical stock optimized for use by smaller-frame shooters. The new stock is shipping now.

The A-10 utilizes many of the popular features in McMillan's tactical stock line-up, but shrinking them down to facilitate the ergonomic needs of smaller-stature shooters.

It combines a thinner forearm reminiscent of the A3-5, a butt hook similar to the A-5 and the sleek visual appeal of the A-6. The vertical grip is positioned further forward than other stocks in the A-series, allowing for a more relaxed 90-degree trigger finger placement due to the shorter trigger reach. The grip also features a small shelf that serves as a hand stop to assist in consistent hand placement. To further accommodate smaller-frame shooters, the adjustable buttstock can deliver a length-of-pull as short as 12 inches. Additionally, the adjustable cheek riser ensures optimal head alignment.

McMillan's intention here is not only provide a more ergonomic stock for smaller-size shooters, but also, "[A] stock that younger shooters can grow with and not grow out of."

Pricing starts at $338, but can quickly add up with the bevy of accessories and different finishes available.
