Pyramyd Air’s Backyard Brawl Video Contest

The 2019 Backyard Brawl video contest, courtesy of our friends at Pyramyd Air, boasts nearly $10,000 in cash prizes, plus $3,000 in product for the first place winner.

Entering the contest is easy. Simply order the necessary silhouette targets at the Pyramyd Air website (the targets are free, use this promo code: BRAWL19 and just pay for the shipping and handling), and then make a video of yourself shooting them with an air gun or BB gun. Pyraymd Air is looking for creative, funny videos that showcase the joys of backyard air gun action with safety in mind.

After ordering the free Air Venturi Silhouette Slynger metal targets (pictured) from the Pyramyd Air website, upload a video of yourself shooting them down.


Once you have made your video, upload it to YouTube or Vimeo. Be sure to include “Pyramyd Air Backyard Brawl” in the title. You can view the full submission guidelines here.

There are eight categories for videos to be submitted:

  1. General
  2. Most creative
  3. Team Challenge
  4. Open Sights
  5. Budget (under $100 total retail value of combined air gun and optics.)
  6. Funniest
  7. Kids 12 and under
  8. Longest shot (length must be verified with range finder or other measuring device, such as a measuring tape, etc.)


The overall winner of the Backyard Brawl video contest will receive a $3,000 Pyramyd Air grand prize package. First, second and third places for each of the eight available categories will receive $500, $250 and $100, respectively.

The contest will end August 31, 2019. The winners will be announced the week of September 2. You can view the full rules here.
