Rock River Arms is adding to its RRAGE series of MSRs with the introduction of the RRAGE 3G, which as the name suggests is geared towards 3-Gun shooters. With a MSRP of $820 and a bevy of features that will certainly spur interest from competitive shooters, the new RRAGE 3G should become one of the top MSR choices for cost-conscious beginners in AR15-specific sports like NRA ARC, in addition to the 3-gun shooters.

Rock River RRAGE 3G MSR Rifle

Drawing from the RRAGE 5.56 NATO carbine, the 3G adds the company's new free-floating, 15-inch aluminum handguard. It extends nearly the entire length of the 16-inch chrome moly barrel (1:9-inch twist). M-Lok is included on the handguard for customization ease. The lower receiver is the forged LAR-15 and the upper is an aluminum flat-top. The muzzle device is an A2 flash hider with 1/2-28 threading. Additionally, the smooth and buttery RRA single-stage trigger is also included standard.

At 6.5 pounds and 36 inches long with the 6-position tactical stock fully extended, the RRAGE 3G has the ideal size and weight for budding 3-gunners that are looking for an entry-level rifle at a sub-$1,000 price point. When you add in the visual appeal of this rifle, along with the monolithic-style profile that allows for smooth transitions when on the move, the RRAGE 3G should prove to be popular with many competitive shooters.

The Rock River RRAGE 3G includes one 30-round polymer magazine. Learn more at RockRiverArms.com.
