The 9 mm Luger option has a 115-grain bullet with 1,145 f.p.s. muzzle velocity, while the .40 S&W has a 180-grain bullet with 1,015 f.p.s. muzzle velocity.

As for 10 mm Auto, that also has a 180-grain bullet, while the muzzle velocity is 1,175 f.p.s.

Finally, the .45 Auto sports a 230-grain bullet, but with 850 f.p.s. muzzle velocity. (All test data courtesy of the Blazer Brass/CCI Ammunition website and from a five-inch barrel.)

The Blazer Brass HP product line is sold in 50-count boxes and is currently being delivered to retailers nationwide. MSRP ranges from $37.99 for 9 mm Luger to $52.99 for 10 mm Auto.

“Our Blazer Brass full-metal jacket handgun ammunition has been popular with shooters for decades,” Blazer Handgun Product Line Manager Chris Laack said. “Adding a jacketed hollow-point bullet option to the product family makes sense, and our customers will love it. This quality multipurpose cartridge is a solid, trustworthy option with which to both train and defend.”
