Dead Air Silencers and Ruger Firearms recently unveiled the RXD series of suppressors with two new models, the RXD22Ti for high-velocity rimfire and small-caliber centerfire firearms and the RXD30Ti for larger calibers.

RXD22Ti
Two finishes are available for the RXD22Ti and RXD30Ti, Black and Burnt Bronze Cerakote. In addition, the 5.6-ounce RXD22Ti pictured above is made from 6AL4V titanium.

More about the RXD suppressor lineup from Dead Air and Ruger: “This bold new line isn’t a rebrand or a re-skin—it’s a ground-up innovation built to complement Ruger’s renowned firearm platforms with uncompromising performance, design and maintainability. The RXD22Ti and RXD30Ti are the first in this purpose-driven lineup, delivering elite-level suppression for both small-caliber and long-range precision shooters. Engineered by Dead Air Silencers with cutting-edge baffle technologies, these suppressors set a new benchmark in lightweight, hard-use performance for serious shooters.”

Weighing a svelte 5.6 ounces, the RXD22Ti is compatible with popular rimfire and smaller centerfire calibers like .22 Long Rifle, .22 WSM, .17 HMR, 4.6 mm and 5.7x28 mm. At the heart of this suppressor is Dead Air’s Triskelion single-piece PVD-coated mono-core, and the RXD22Ti is constructed using additive manufacturing, which the company said provides “enhanced strength, lighter weight and simplified maintenance. The suppressor’s internal geometry allows for sophisticated acoustic engineering that delivers optimal sound suppression in a remarkably small package.”

The RXD22Ti suppressor sports a titanium tube, 3D-printed and PVD-coated single-piece Triskelion core, titanium retaining cap and XRF muzzle brake.

The suppressor is made from 6AL4V titanium, while the muzzle device is nitride 17-4 PH stainless steel. Overall dimensions are 5.6 x 1.1 inches, with the aforementioned weight of 5.6 ounces, including the mount.

Perhaps best of all, there are no barrel length restrictions with RXD22Ti. With a muzzle energy rating of 850 foot-pounds, this suppressor is full-automatic rated in .22 Long Rifle (in accordance with ATF regulations) and semi-automatic in .17 HMR, .22 WSM and 5.7x28 mm. In addition, the RXD22Ti suppressor can be purchased with a Black or Burnt Bronze Cerakote exterior finish. MSRP is $499.

As for the RXD22Ti’s big brother, the larger RXD30Ti suppressor is rated for calibers ranging from 6.5 mm PRC, 7 mm PRC and up to .300 PRC. It incorporates Triskelion and Nomad baffle technologies for enhanced recoil and sound suppression with .30-caliber cartridges. An integrated E-Brake feature should also help for softer shooting—Dead Air said the brake provides “up to 40-percent reduction in felt recoil when compared to a bare muzzle.” Muzzle flash should also be reduced with the RXD front cap, along with minimized blast baffle erosion with a Direct Thread Brake Mount.

This suppressor is made from 6AL4V titanium like the RXD22Ti, with the RXD30Ti’s muzzle device and front cap made from nitride 17-4 PH stainless steel. Weighing 12.4 ounces with the mount included, the RXD30Ti has dimensions of 7.34 x 1.74 inches.

The RXD30Ti’s RXD flash hiding front cap should help to minimize muzzle flash.

Barrel restrictions for magnum calibers (up to .30 cal.) is 20 inches. For sub-magnum calibers like 5.56 mm NATO and .308 Win., barrel length is limited to 12½ inches. The subsonic barrel length restriction is six inches.

Mounting compatibility with all HUB (.1375-24 TPI) accessories allow the RXD30Ti suppressor to mount via direct-thread or quick-disconnect applications.

Finish options include Black and Burnt Bronze Cerakote. MSRP for the Dead Air RXD30Ti is $1,099.

As mentioned, MSRP for the RXD22Ti is $499 and the RXD30Ti is $1,099. Go to the Dead Air Silencers website to learn more.
