Gunsite Academy will host the 2025 NRA America’s Rifle Challenge Summit on November 8-9 in Paulden, Arizona, bringing together AR platform enthusiasts for two full days of instruction, skill development and competition at one of the most respected firearms training facilities in the world.

Day one features the America’s Rifle Level One Training Day, where participants will work directly with Gunsite Academy instructors to develop safe and effective AR rifle handling (operation, firing, maintenance and competition). The curriculum includes foundational live-fire drills and positional shooting techniques, setting up competitors for recreational and match success.

The action ramps up on day two with an ARC Level One Match, the NRA’s introductory competitive platform designed for AR and semi-automatic rifle shooters. The event closes with a run through the legendary Gunsite Scrambler course, a fan favorite for testing field skills under pressure.

NRA ARC Level One’s format is designed to be accessible and adaptable for responsible AR owners, with ranges between 10 and 100 yards and scaled targets for smaller facilities. It accommodates a wide variety of AR configurations and calibers, including suppressors, which makes participation widely achievable at clubs across the country.

“The NRA is committed to supporting our members by offering new and innovative approaches to firearm training and competition,” said Josh Savani, executive director of NRA General Operations. “The first-of-its-kind summit in Arizona will play a critical role in teaching new shooters how to improve their skills and introduce seasoned shooters to the NRA’s fast-paced and exciting new competition platform.”

Registration is capped at 100 competitors, with a special pricing package available: $350 for both days. Participants are encouraged to review NRA America’s Rifle Challenge rules to determine division eligibility before the event. For more information, visit arc.nra.org or gunsite.com.
