Team Remington shooting athlete Sheaffer Stanfill secured championship titles in both the Doubles and 12-Gauge events during the recent U.S. Open Skeet Championship. There were 16 gun clubs around the country that concurrently hosted the competition on June 21-23.

More than 600 top skeet shooters from around the country (and Puerto Rico) gathered to shoot at the 16 different gun clubs that hosted the event. As mentioned, Stanfill won championships in both the 12-Gauge and Doubles events, including a virtuoso 100-straight performance shooting doubles, which was the only perfect score in that event.

In the High Over All competition, Stanfill walked away with a score of 397 of 400 targets.
