Team Lapua’s Keith Trapp secured top honors in F-Class Target Rifle (F-TR) at the 2021 Delaware State Long-Range Championship. He won the High-Master class with an aggregate score of 1162-34X, beating the runner-up by 18 points.

The Bridgeville Rifle and Pistol Club in Bridgeville, De., hosted the 2021 Delaware State Long-Range Championship on August 28-29. Iron sights class was held on August 28, with any sight competing on August 29.

A high power category, F-Class Target Rifle (F-TR) has strict requirements for a “ready-to-go” rifle weighing no more than 18 pounds. In addition, chambers are required to be unmodified and use a standard .308/7.62 mm NATO or .223 Rem./5.56 mm NATO.

Trapp was shooting a .308-chambered, Remington 700-platform rifle.

He shared more about his load.

“The Lapua .308 Palma brass continues to amaze me on how many times I can reload it. I won the match with brass that had been fired nine times. This gives me the utmost confidence that whether I have two or 12 firings on my Lapua brass, I will continue to get the same outstanding results. Lapua cases, combined with Vihtavuori N150 and Berger 200.20X bullets, enabled me to earn the top spot in the first round and stay there for the entire match.”
