Browning has added two new electronic and behind-the-ear muff models to their already-excellent line of hearing protection products, both of which meet ANSI S3.19 standards.

Cadence Electronic Hearing Protector

The Cadence Electronic Hearing Protector has an omnidirectional microphone to amplify ambient sound. There’s an adjustable volume control, and the amplification shuts off when sound levels reach a harmful 82 decibels. This low-profile electronic hearing protector has a compact ear cup design with a textured, soft cushioned headband. The Cadence provides 24 decibels Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) passive protection. Two AAA batteries (not included) are used to power the unit. MSRP: $65, pick up for $48 on Amazon.

Behind the Head Hearing Protector

The Behind the Head Hearing Protector features a strong steel band that secures them in place without interfering with headwear. Behind the head earmuffs are especially convenient when wearing hats with a circular brim. The slim profile ear cups are comfortable, easily adjustable and are black in color, with the classic gold Buckmark imprinted on the sides. The muffs will provide 22 decibels NRR. MSRP: $20, or $17 on Amazon.
