U.S. IPSC Nationals: Randi Rogers Wins High Lady

Randi Rogers, a member of Ruger’s shooting team, took High Lady honors at the 2018 U.S. International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) National Championship this past July. Shooting in the Classic division, she also claimed 11th place overall in the division aggregate. This is Roger’s seventh major win this year.

The match was held at the Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof, FL.

Rogers was shooting the SR1911 chambered in 9mm Luger, finishing the match with a final score of 979.8011. The course of fire consisted of 16 challenging stages utilizing both paper and steel targets (some moving), engaged on the move from around barriers, all while reloading. Rogers best performance came during Stage 2: Korotkay, with a time of 8.74 and hit factor of 4.704. Additionally, her Stage 2 score was the sixth best in her division and 49th out of all 272 shooters.
