Pro shooters KC Eusebio and Jessie Harrison made waves at the 2022 World Speed Shooting Championships, held April 27 to May 1 at the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park in Talladega, Alabama. The two Team Bushnell and Team Taurus shooters both posted record-setting performances, with Eusebio becoming the first shooter in history of Steel Challenge to win nine World Speed Shooting titles, while teammate Harrison walked away from the match as the first woman to claim the Overall Steel Master award.

KC Eusebio’s main match time of 76.49 seconds gave him the High Overall title and first place in Open. To help him win his record-setting ninth World Speeding Shooting title, for one of his optics he used a Bushnell First Strike 2.0 reflex sight. Naturally, Eusebio was elated after his big victory.

“It’s an amazing feeling to capture my ninth world speed shooting title,” said Eusebio. “This match has been a part of my life since I was nine years old and to set the record for the most wins is truly a childhood dream come true. What’s even better is that I’ve used the same Bushnell red dot to win the last three titles and I see no reason it can’t help me with a 10th. Also, a big thank you to my Bushnell family for their unconditional support.”

Meanwhile, with a final time of 264.48 seconds, Jessie Harrison made history after receiving the aforementioned Overall Steel Master title. This award goes to the competitor with the best aggregate score for two center-fire divisions and one rimfire division. In addition to the Overall Steel Master award, her Open time of 90.35 seconds netted her the High Overall Lady title, along with third place in the Open main match field. Harrison was shooting a Bushnell First Strike 2.0 reflex sight during the Open match. She was also the runner-up in Overall Single Stack with 101.41—setting a new Ladies world time record.

“In my opinion, this is one of the hardest titles to earn, aside from the overall title,” said Harrison. “You’re not only trying to place well in one division, but three. I’ve watched legendary shooters win this cup over the 17 years I’ve been shooting this sport, and I’m so honored to have earned it.”

Additionally, both Eusebio and Harrison opted to equip the Bushnell RXS-250 optic on their rimfire guns.

The match was conducted by the Steel Challenge Shooting Association and the United States Practical Shooting Association.
