Trijicon has announced a new line of Quick Release mounts for their popular RMR and MRO reflex sights. With these new mounts, shooters can quickly attach and remove them with no tools using a single hand. Read our reviews of the Trijicon RMR and RMR Type 2.

Trijicon MRO Low Quick Release Mount
The MRO Low Quick Release Mount is 1.5 inches long, weighs 1.4 ounces, and has a matte black anodized finish.

There are eight new mounts in Low, Full Co-Witness, and Lower 1/3 Co-Witness heights. These mounts are machined from 7075 T6-Aluminum for light weight and are compatible with Picatinny rails. There are also options for Weaver-style bases. Trijicon says these new mounts are tested to withstand military requirements, and they are “designed to be as tough as the optics themselves.”

Additionally, there are 45 degree offset models (pictured at top) available. These allow for mounting an RMR or MRO on the shooter’s choice of the left- or right-hand side of their firearm. Slim enough to fit under most magnified optics, the 45 degree offset is intended for 3-Gun and Multi-Gun competition, and also hunting and law enforcement applications.

The Trijicon MRO 45 Degree Offset Quick Release Mount is about the same size as the MRO optic.

Pricing varies depending on the model; from $50 for the MRO Low Mount Adapter, to $219 for the 45 degree Offset Quick Release model.
