Annual Precision Rifle Expo To Debut In September

Word on the street is that the first-ever Precision Rifle Expo will be held this September 15–16, at the Arena Training Facility in Blakely, GA. The event has been specifically designed to team up novice shooters and precision rifle enthusiasts with top long range equipment manufacturers, precision rifle instructors and seasoned competitors. The goal: teach others about this highly addictive shooting sport that has taken the nation by storm.

Attendees will be able to meet industry representatives and the chance for hands-on time with new and rare products. Additionally, there are a large variety of long range seminars on the docket. All of this is included in the entry fee of $25, an extremely generous price for everything that is included (seminars with this type of instruction can sometimes have astronomical fees). The seminars will cover such topics as Introduction to Long Range Precision Shooting, Precision Handloading, Wind Reading, Position Building, Competition Preparedness, and the Fundamentals of Marksmanship.

Exhibiting companies will be providing the latest product information on actions, barrels, reloading, optics, steel targets, ear and eye protection, bags and support equipment, rifle builders/manufacturers, stocks and chassis, suppressors, and last but not least—electronics. Exhibitors will be able to sell merchandise, conduct range demonstrations and provide instruction to attendees regarding information relevant to the brand. Several live fire ranges will be used for various shooting opportunities, to include: suppressors-only, precision rimfire, 1000-yard, and even a one-mile target engagement. 

Spread over 2300 acres, the Arena Training Facility is located approximately two hours from Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, GA. This long range shooting facility boasts a unique configuration of multiple medium to long distances (out to 2300 yards), multiple climate-controlled classrooms, a main building and a clubhouse (available on a first-come, first-served basis for exhibitors). Exhibitor space is limited to 36 vendors for this first year, in a dedicated, fully enclosed and air-conditioned area.
