Brandon Powell is once again on top of the world. The Remington Ammunition-sponsored shooter successfully defended his title at the 2025 World Sporting Clays Championship, held July 7-19 at the renowned E.J. Churchill Shooting Grounds in England.

“It still hasn’t set in yet that I’m back-to-back World Champion,” Powell said. “This has been a dream come true for me to win it in England. The amount of hard work and dedication has paid off and I cannot thank my family, friends and sponsors enough for the support that they show me.”

In a tense Super Final against six of the sport’s best, Powell separated himself from the field by three targets to clinch this year’s title.

Up next for Powell is a trip to Cyprus, where he’ll compete in the World FITASC Championships—still in peak form and carrying serious momentum.

His individual performance helped power Team USA to two major victories: the Overall Team competition and the Senior Open Team title. The latter included fellow Remington shooter Braxton Oliver.

“Brandon has been dominant domestically this year with championship performances at top sporting clay events and is extending that winning formula on the world stage,” said Jason Nash, Remington’s Vice President of Marketing.

Team Remington added even more podium hardware in England. Madison Sharpe placed third in the Ladies High Gun, while Turner Purcell earned third in the Juniors High Gun with a clutch shoot-off performance. Purcell also contributed to Team USA’s Junior Team title win.

Team Remington shooters rely on Remington Premier shotshells, including the company’s Premier STS and Premier Nitro lines.
