Barrett Firearms recently announced the commercial release of its newest firearm called the MRADELR.

This bolt-action repeater chambered in .416 Barrett sports a 36-inch barrel (1:9-inch twist) and the upper receiver (M-LOK compatible) has an integral 10 mil 24.63-inch top rail. A user-changeable barrel system allows users to change barrel and caliber configurations with only one tool, while a nickel-plated bolt head adds corrosion resistance and should reduce the need for maintenance. Additionally, the Barrett MRADELR has an adjustable single-stage trigger module can be removed without tools.

The match-grade, single point cut, hand lapped stainless steel barrel comes incorporates a high-efficiency three-port muzzle brake. In addition, the barrel is compatible with the QDL muzzle brake.

A five-round, single-stack polymer magazine is also included with the Barrett MRADELR.

At the 2023 King of 2 Miles match held at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico, this past September, Justin Wolf and spotter James Archer finished in second place shooting the Barrett MRADELR rifle chambered in .416 Barrett and using 500-grain Cutting Edge Lazer bullets.

More from Barrett: “The MRADELR is a high quality, military tested, off-the-shelf, extreme long-range system with user changeable barrels and calibers. Designed to deliver precision typically achieved only by custom-built rifles, this rifle expands the bolt-action, magazine-fed MRAD family to include .416 Barrett with additional large-caliber options to be available in the future. Boasting innovative technology, precision engineering and exceptional materials, the MRADELR is yet another example of Barrett Firearms' dedication to excellence.”
