Remington Ammunition has partnered with the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation to build a new sporting clays course at the Remington Gun Club, a public trap and skeet facility located on the grounds of the Remington Ammunition plant in Lonoke, Ark. This state-of-the-art clay target facility will be open to people of all ages, with a focus on youth shooters.

Some backstory: A MidwayUSA Foundation Range Development Grant was awarded to the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation to fund the addition to the Remington Gun Club. The new sporting clays course is a welcome addition to the historic Remington Gun Club. Open year-round, the club welcomes thousands of shooters annually and recently expanded to include a retail store.

Big Green’s addition of a clays course to its gun club will provide Arkansas youth with a top-notch sporting facility to practice and compete. Remington Ammunition Conservation Program Manager, Jon Zinnel, is thankful for the support. Here is what Zinnel had to say.

“Remington looks forward to hosting thousands of youth shooters from across the nation for future events at our gun club. Without the grant from the MidwayUSA Foundation and the support of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, building this new course wouldn’t have been possible.”

Deke Whitbeck, the president of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, added:

“We look forward to our partnership with Remington Ammunition and introducing thousands of Arkansas youth to another clay target shooting opportunity.”
