Team Ruger has added a seventh team member, 17-year-old 3-gun shooter Beth Walker. She is the first junior competitor to join the team.

Some background on Beth Walker: This is her third season of competitive shooting, with participation at a few major matches already under her belt, including big name-ones such as Rocky Mountain 3-Gun, Brownells Ladies Multigun Fall Festival and the Generation 3-Gun Championshipamong many others.

Walker relishes the opportunity to join Team Ruger.

"I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to join Team Ruger,” says Walker. “I admire their faithful support of the Second Amendment and the outdoor industry and I am looking forward to growing as a competitor through the guidance of an amazing team and iconic company.”

Eighteen-time NRA Bianchi Cup Champion and Ruger Team Captain Doug Koenig is excited to have Walker join the squad.

“We are proud to have Beth on board as Team Ruger’s first junior competitor,” says Koenig. “She is a fine example of the next generation of competitors in the shooting sports. Beth’s wide-ranging shooting skills pair nicely with Ruger’s diverse product line, and we are excited to see her continue to develop her skills.”

As if all this isnt enough, Walker also dedicates herself to supporting women in the shooting sports. She is the Indiana Chairwoman of the emPOWERed organization, and also is the social media director for Expressions magazine. As such, she pens a monthly column for the magazine called Profiles of Second Amendment Women.
